Between the grocery store and the restaurant, this paradise of cheeses and meats is between French coffee and the warm atmosphere of a mountain chalet. The restaurant is part of the Avalanche cheese factory, a 25-minute drive from Aspen, renowned for the freshness and quality of its dairy products. But meat, another specialty of the house, is also local and tasty. The seasonal menu is made up of salads and sandwiches, based naturally on cheeses and meats that are also used in plates to share or to taste solo.
