This is a beautiful small archaeological site built on a terraced hill, which offers beautiful views over the Comitán valley. Its occupation spans both the Classic Maya (AD 300-900) and the Postclassic (AD 900-1200). Located on the road between Los Altos de Chiapas and Guatemala, the city must have been an important commercial hub, as evidenced by the many objects of distant origin that have been found there.
