The Snowdrop Inn is an authentic Sussex pub in the English tradition. A typical rural establishment, it lies at the foot of the cliffs on the edge of the town and is definitely worth a visit. The food is very good, as is often the case in English pubs, and there's also an interesting choice of real ales, many of them direct from Harvey's brewery in Lewes. The cosy, wood-panelled interiors are warm and inviting, and there's even a beer garden for when the sun is out. It's a real stopover in the region.
