Located at the confluence of the Suksun and Sylva rivers, Suksun, 8,082 inhabitants, is listed as one of the most beautiful villages in Russia. If a first mention mentions it in 1651, the history of the locality is inseparable from that of its copper smelter, established in 1727. In the middle of the century, the factory started producing samovars, an activity that made Suksun the official capital of the object (and not Tula, in European Russia). For those who like to discover a region a little further, Suksun can be a relatively pleasant outing. The village is located 130 km south of Perm
