TRIMUKHI BAORI

Another emblematic monument in Rajasthan, the well in stairs. It is hidden behind a high wall on three doors. Built by the brahmins of the Hanuman temple located on the other side of the square, it serves sacred rites. You'll notice just behind a wheel well. A buffalo is tied to the bar that activates the wheel and turns in circles. The cabasses attached to the wheel allow to return the water of the well without effort.
