Gladden Spit and Silk Caye Marine Reserve, offering tours between April and June to spot whale sharks, dolphins and more.

The Silk Cayes Reserve is ideal for snorkeling, as its shallow waters overhang the reef (3-6 meters): with a little luck, you'll be able to spot dolphins, turtles, nurse sharks and leopard rays. The reef's main attraction, however, is the whale shark migration from March to June, for which Placencia's diving centers offer a variety of scuba diving and snorkeling packages.
