AIR FORCE BASE

This camp was built in 1937, as part of the Spanish Civil War that shook the entire country between 1936 and 1939. A year after Franco's troops took power, the German Condor Legion took control of the air camp, as evidenced by the documents and historical relics on display in the interpretation center. Black and white photographs show the Republican and German pilot troops. Beautiful replica of a Polikarpov I-16.
