Castle near the monastery of Poblet with a breathtaking view of the mountains of Prades

Located near the monastery of Poblet, at the foot of the Poblet Natural Park, Riudabella Castle is a marvel and offers a breathtaking view of the mountains of Prades. You can choose between the magnificent suite and the no less sumptuous apartment. If you are not staying at the castle, it is possible to visit it (with reservation) while tasting three pepper wines. The private tour of the château, conducted by the owner, lasts approximately 1 hour and can be done before or after the tasting.

No estuve en lugar pernoctarndo no tampoco lo visité o me acerque a él.
Me encontraba justo de en el recorrido hacia Poblet en bikepacking y desde la carretera se lograba distinguir y apreciar su imponente estructura, fantástica a simple vista desde lejos acompañada de un entorno rodeado de viñedos y bosques que lo hacen de postal.

What a wonderful spot. We stayed at the two person apartment and had a lovely afternoon looking over the vineyards and sitting in the sun with one of the cats keeping us company. Peter was very accommodating and along with a great Pinot Noir, he gave us an amazing tour of the property with history going back before Roman times. It’s just incredible. It’s remote, so we brought food with us - but it’s a visit we won’t soon forget!

Posiblemente el sitio más bonito y espectacular que he visto en mi vida.
El trato,..como si estubieses en tú propia casa.
El guia y dueño del lugar un encanto,...nos enseño las bodegas, la torre, sus salas de estar, comedores, cocinas,reliquias, hornos, etc ... alucinannnnte!! Y nos encendió la chimenea, para que todas las nenas estubiéramos calentitas!!
Tienen dos barricas de madera de 62000 litros cada una, vaya!!...con eso llenamos una gran piscina, además de un monton de barricas en bodega!!
Heliopuerto, jacuzzi, salón de catas de vino, salón para calçotadas, banquetes de Boda...
Tiene tanto que ver, que no tengo tiempo para escribirlo.
Hay que ir y verlo,...
