SANT MIQUEL CHURCH

This church, dedicated to Saint Michael and nicknamed "Cathedral of the Baix Camp" because of its large dimensions, has been under construction since 1801. The location of its foundations probably corresponds to that of an old castle. After more than 30 years of construction, the work was stopped and only resumed a century later, in 1942. The visitor will only have the opportunity to enter the church at mass time and will be able to observe the murals by Jaume Minguell dating from 1962 and representing biblical scenes and daily life of the time.
