Sanctuary built on the remains of a medieval castle, which offers a sensational view from the chapel

This sanctuary is located on a cliff of the red mountain of Mont-Roig. It was built on the remains of a medieval castle, which was built on the remains of a Roman tombstone dedicated to the Egyptian goddess Isis. Every 8th of September the Mare de Déu is celebrated through the statue of the Virgin carved by Francesc Javaloy, a local artist in 1980. Sensational view from the chapel.
