PARCO REGIONALE MONTI PICENTINI

A protected natural area, straddling the provinces of Avellino and Salerno. On a surface of 63,000 hectares, forests of oak, beech and chestnut trees are spread out, crossed by rivers that flow in waterfalls, and populated by a varied fauna: wolves, wild cats, golden eagles... The park's head office proposes various walking itineraries, at its office or on the website: routes along the rivers, on the peaks, from village to village, etc.
