The Vic Tourist Office, located next to Plaça Major, is the ideal starting point for discovering the city's historic center and its history. Visitors will find all the tourist information and services they need to make their visit a pleasant one, and to keep them coming back for more. The office offers tourist and civic information, tour guide services for reliving the city's history, audioguide rental for an audio-guided tour of the historic center, a reception area for groups with projection of audiovisual documents on the city, the sale of publications and Vic's products, as well as ticket sales for the ATLÀNTIDA theater. The office also has public toilets, a small exhibition area and an outdoor information screen available 24 hours a day. Environmental practices are also in place, including recycling of paper, plastic, ink cartridges and glass, as well as a storage heating system and low-energy lighting.
