Meyenheim is a town in Alsace, known for its caving club, the Groupe Spéléologique d'Alsace (GSA). Founded in 1952 and affiliated to the Fédération française de Spéléologie, the GSA is the oldest caving association in the region. The club is heavily involved in the inventory of underground environments in Alsace and Franche-Comté, as well as in the development and securing of caves. They regularly organize day-long discovery and introductory outings, supervised by EFS and Fédération française de Spéléologie qualified instructors. These outings enable everyone to progress and familiarize themselves with the underground world in a safe and friendly environment.
