CASTLE GOLAN WINERY

This winery was founded in 1999 in the Eliad moshav, and it wasn't until 2001 that the Rybak family brought in a specialist winemaker to look after the vines and the winemaking process. In just a few years, Château Golan, modeled on French estates, has grown to become one of the country's most respected wineries. It produces merlot, cabernet sauvignon, petit-verdot, syrah, grenache... You can visit the estate and taste some of the wines on prior reservation.
