Glacier

Here's a truly surprising place. In the heart of Dangriga's main gas station, behind a small but opaque glass door, you'll enter another world and be greeted by charming young girls offering the best ice creams and sorbets in town in a cosy, well-decorated room. Brownies, cookies, sundaes and ice creams are on the menu, as well as a very good espresso coffee, which is quite rare in the area. It's the ideal place to take a break before catching the bus, whose station is right next door.

DANGRIGA CENTRAL MARKET

Openair market

As well as food products such as vegetables (often organic) and fish, you'll find a little bit of everything at Dangriga's central market. Clothes, shoes, handicrafts, hammocks... Some stores have been established here since the new market opened in 2014. Products from all over the district are sold here. Small stalls just outside the market allow you to eat more cheaply and sample the specialties that are so popular with the locals. This market is probably the cheapest place in the country to find souvenirs.
