THOUSAND FOOT FALLS

Literally the 1,000-foot waterfall, thisspectacular cascade, off the reserve's most well-travelled paths, sees its waters plummet in a deafening crash 500 metres down into the valley... The waterfall's actual height is 1,600 feet, higher than its name suggests. You can only see it from above, as it's virtually impossible to reach its basin in the heart of the jungle, but the view is truly magnificent, and the ideal place for birdwatching and a picnic.
