HILL BANK FIELD STATION

At the end of the New River Lagoon, this area was intensively exploited for its forestry resources from the 17th^century onwards, and for almost 150 years. You can see architectural remains and machinery such as steam engines and old railroad tracks. Here you can enjoy crocodile-watching by canoe, gentle strolls along the trails and bird-watching. The boat trip on the lagoon alone is worth the detour. The cabins are simple but in total communion with nature.
