PINEAPPLE RICE

At the top of the main street, just before the bridge on the right, is a plant for processing paddy. Paddy is still rice in its gangue. It is first dried on large sheets of black plastic that women are in order to remove the last excess of humidity. The paddy is then collected and transported to the head of men inside the plant. It went into a machine that extracted the gangue and released the grain. The grains are then transvasés in large jute bags with a pineapple. You are at "Pineapple Rice".
