To the west of Procchio, a small beach named after Napoleon's sister.

A beach named after Napoleon's sister! One kilometre west of Procchio, on the road leading to Marciana Marina, you will find a small sandy and gravel beach that can be reached on foot (unfortunately there is no parking, you have to park "Italian style" on the side of the road). A few meters from the shore stands the islet of Paolina, so named because, it is said, Pauline Bonaparte, Napoleon's (favourite) sister, liked to go to this little corner of paradise to bathe naked, far from prying eyes. The island is accessible by swimming.
