This clock tower (Sahat kulla, Sahat kula) was built in 1792 on the site of a 13th-century tower. Standing at 25 m high, it is the highest and oldest monument in the city. It retains a star (at the top) dating from socialist Yugoslavia and a bell from the clock tower of Velika Hoča/Hoca i Madhe, destroyed by the Ottomans in 1908. The clock, which had stopped working in 1960, was replaced during a renovation in 2009-2010.
