FERIZAJ/UROŠEVAC MUSEUM

This municipal museum (Muzeu i Qytetit, Gradski muzej) is rather interesting considering its small size and lack of resources. It was created in 2011 following the discoveries made that same year at the site of Varosh/Varoš Selo (2 km to the south), which was occupied from the Neolithic period to Late Antiquity. This is where the intriguing "Varosh deity", a 5.5 cm high clay statuette from the 7th or 6th millennium BC, comes from.
