MACKENZIE MOUNTAINS

On the border between the Yukon and the Northwest Territories, the vastness and beauty of the Mackenzie Mountains can only be experienced on a scenic flight. This is an opportunity to fly over the Mackenzie River, its surrounding plain and into the wild, uninhabited mountain range of high plateaus where hordes of caribou graze and where you can see deep gorges carved by wild rivers and rocky peaks as far as the eye can see. An expensive excursion but well worth the cost.
