This gondola lift allows you to reach the highest peak of Elba Island, the mythical Monte Capanne, in 18 minutes.

The cable car takes you to the highest peak on the island, Mount Capanne, in 18 minutes. 55 cabins with two standing places (beware of vertigo!) lead to the station located at 950 meters, from where you can enjoy a superb view of Elba, Gorgona, Capraia, Pianosa, Montecristo, Giglio, Corsica and the Etruscan coast in good weather... A show that is worth the trip. Good to know: at the starting point, a restaurant, just like the refuge at the top at the arrival.

Wir sind in den letzten 20 Jahren schon oft mit dieser abenteuerlich anmutenden Seilbahn auf den Monte Capanne gefahren. Es ist immer wieder ein tolles Erlebnis und auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, auch wenn Ein- und Ausstieg in den letzten Jahren durch die Drosselung der Fahrgeschwindigkeit etwas entschärft wurden. Aber es macht trotzdem Spaß!
