TESHIMA YOKOO HOUSE

Teshima Yokoo House is a collaboration between artist Tadanori Yokoo and architect Yuko Nagayama. It was created by modifying and renovating an old private house located in Leura, facing the harbour. The exhibition areas are divided into a main house, a warehouse and an outbuilding and feature 11 two-dimensional works. There is also a beautiful coloured stone garden, a pond and a cylindrical tower. These installations are inspired by the artist's themes of life and death.
