ANDO MUSEUM

This museum consists of an interior space designed by Tadao Ando in the heart of an old traditional house in Honmura. Concrete, the architect's trademark, contrasts with the wood of the building's exterior walls. Here the past meets the present, wood meets concrete and light meets shadow. The essence of the spirit of the renowned architect's work can be found here, within the walls of this exceptional house. Photographs, sketches and models are also on display to give a better idea of this architectural renaissance.
