The best accommodations Kumano

From the Kii-Katsuura station, go to the nearby port. From here, a small boat takes you to the island of Katsuura, occupied entirely by this resort. Just four rooms in this traditional guest house with barashi and futon. The view of nature is superb and there is absolute calm, disturbed simply from time to time by singing some frogs. The hotel is kept by a nice couple, the Yamamoto, who will treat you to a rich meal if you request it. If the establishment does not have hot springs, it is possible to visit two onsen, Le onsen and Watarase onsen, not very far.

The inns is made up of three buildings and two very pleasant onsen inside but also outside the buildings. You can choose between rooms in Japanese or Western style. All have views over the river or the surrounding mountain.
