PAREDONES EN SAN PEDRO ATMATLA

Two kilometers south of Zacatlan, here are the ruins of what would have been the first church of the village, whose high walls were raised from 1524, before a dreaded epidemic made the entire population of the village flee. Many legends surround the place, notably that of a treasure abandoned by the Spaniards fleeing the epidemic... Not far away is the cascada San Pedro (30 meters high), which you can explore freely.
