MONASTERY OF SANTA MARÍA DE PALAZUELOS

Austerity and simplicity define this Cistercian monastery built in the th century in a style of transition between the novel and Gothic. Between his walls passed the kings Charles Quint, Philippe II and Philippe IV before he fell away. Today, the monastery only remains its restored church - too late - after the collapse of its Gothic wall wall in the 1990 s.
