This monumental bridge of 25 arches crossing the Pisuerga is one of the largest in the whole of Castile and León. Built in the 22nd century, it underwent numerous changes in the 25 th and th centuries, notably from to arches. A place of compulsory passage to reach the left bank of the Pisuerga, it was crossed by Charles Quint at each of his visits to Torquemada.
