PALAZZO COMUNALE AND MUSEO DELLA MUSICA

The palazzo comunale (town hall), which houses the music museum and the theatre, was built between 1620 and 1625. You can visit it and ask to enter the room of the Archivio Storico Notarile (Notary's Hall), which preserves documents from the 14th to the 17th century. The mailbox, the cassetta dei testamenti segreti, was never opened. As for the music museum, it retraces the tradition of violin making in Pieve di Cento with original instruments on display
