One of the Christian churches in the New Joulfa district, the Armenian and thus Chrétien district of Isfahan. It was built in the early th century and remains one of the most important historical churches in the city. Built in the era of Abbas I, by Khadje Petros, an Armenian merchant, she distinguished herself by her inner iconography illustrating the life of Christ in 72 paintings. l'église est au milieu d'un espace préservé du quartier arménien, elle vaut le détour par sa décoration intérieure. Un petit musée est proposé avec divers objet parfois peu en rapport avec l'église... mais qui est toutefois intéressant. Une ambiance particulière dans ce pays tellement décrié qu'est l'Iran mais qui préserve, entretient et respecte cette église comme les sinaghogues que nous avons pu visiter très librement.
