A remarkable marine park in Utende, on the island of Mafia.
You pay the Mafia Marine Park Conservation Fee for all nights in Utende, even if you don't go sailing. If you stay in Kilindoni, you will only pay when you go out to sea to visit the islands that are part of the park. The price is fixed per day and per person. The office is on the road and the stop for tourists is mandatory whether you are in a taxi, bajaj or dala dala. You pay for your stay either in dollars, shillings or CB at the Marine Park office, located on the road 1 km before arriving in Utende.
