Presque Isle State Park

Off the coast of Erie, on the Presque Isle peninsula, a state park has been created to protect this natural area that juts out into the lake. With its thirteen beaches and 34 km of trails, Presque Isle State Park is an ideal natural setting for hiking, swimming and biking, with the lake as a backdrop. The park is also home to a lighthouse, still in operation today, used to warn ships of the peninsula's presence.
