Besides hazelnuts, the other specialty of the Black Sea is obviously fish, and the emblem of the Ordu region is the hamsi (anchovy). It is excellent grilled(ızgara) or fried(tava). This small, unassuming restaurant is the best in town for tasting seafood. Locals come here to try zargana (orphie), a kind of eel: it is delicious. Steamed sea bass, fried horse mackerel, haddock. The fish is accompanied by a tasty seasonal salad. Homemade hazelnut desserts.
