7 km from Konde, in the same direction as the Ngezi reserve, lies this point at the northern end of the island ("ras" means "point" or "cape"). It really is the northern cape, reached by a narrow road just past the village of Kigomasha, the end of the world! On the beautiful beach of Panga Ya Watoro, you'll find a number of luxury hotels dedicated to diving, including the famous Manta Resort with its spectacular underwater chamber. The all-steel lighthouse here is spectacular for its views, and can be visited. From this point, a road leads west down to the wonderful Vumawimbi beach.
