Rooms with veranda on the sea in a hotel, good value for money, with Italian-Swahili restaurant on the beach of Pingwe.
Hekaya is a small, intimate hotel located on the pretty Pingwe beach. It comprises three 45 m² rooms with clean lines in waxed concrete, each sleeping 4 (1 king-size bed and 2 single beds) and two 35 m² rooms sleeping 3 (1 king-size bed and 1 single bed). All have sea-view verandas, air-conditioning, fans and large Zanzibar bathrooms. The restaurant serves top-quality Italian-Swahili cuisine, as does the service. A bar and a small swimming pool (a little muffled between the walls) complete the setting.

Excellente expérience en famille dans ce superbe hôtel !!!
Le lieu paradisiaque, les chambres très propres, la vue sur l'océan ...le jardin de John est magnifique.
Cocktails trop bon, les repas etaient egalement délicieux !!
Mention spéciale pour tout le personnel qui est d'une extrême gentillesse.
Bien de loin le meilleur hôtel que l'on a eu à Zanzibar.

Amazing stay in Zanzibar - Perfect location - Delicious food - Fantastic staff
We had a wonderful 4 days at Hekaya Zanzibar and we loved every minute. Perfect place to stay in Zanzibar.
Located right on the beach and only minutes away from the world famous Rock Restaurant.
Our chef prepared really delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The portion were very big, fresh and tasty and not expensive.
We had a fantastic staff: Jackline the manger was very friendly and helpful.
Great bartenders: Diswa was so much fun and Mohammed made fantastic margaritas.
We had a super fun Maasai dance one evening right in the lobby of our hotel.
A nice and Maasai security guard was on the property at all times. Very safe place.
We had a nice big room with AC and a porch facing the ocean.
John the gardener showed us his beautiful plants and he even made my wife a name bracelet for only five dollars.
Everything was fantastic and we really enjoyed ourselves in the wonderful clean pool.

Sehr schönes Hotel, sehr gute Lage, leckeres Frühstück. Einziger Mängel: befleckte Handtücher.

Avec ma conjointe, nous y avons séjourné 4 nuits.
C’est un petit hôtel comprenant 5 chambres, décorées avec goût, toutes possédant une agréable vue sur la mer.
Le personnel est dans son entièreté très accueillant et souriant. C’est un plaisir de circuler dans l’hôtel et de discuter avec chacun d’entre-eux. Des personnes très avenantes.
John Tito le jardinier, vous fera le tour de son joli jardin, dont il aime prendre soin et vous fera découvrir ses différentes plantations.
Les serveurs sont vraiment super et très à l’écoute de vos demandes. Mention spéciale pour Disoa !
Enfin, la restauration propose de bons plats variés avec des produits de qualité.
Nous recommandons fortement cet hôtel et merci encore pour ce magnifique séjour.
