FORT DE SÃO PEDRO

This military construction, a monument classified since 1954 and now partially in ruins, originally dating from the th century. The authorities are planning to rehabilitate the fort in the museum.

Climbing on the height above the fort allows the visitor to enjoy a fantastic view of the Rio Catumbela, the city of the same name, the two bridges, the old (beginning of the th) and the new (beginning of the), and finally on the agricultural plain which extends to the sea. It is a very nice cliché on Angola of yesterday and today not to miss!
