The foundation is a mine of information on everything to do with primates. The center is primarily a clinic for orangutans awaiting reintegration into their natural environment, and houses around 300 specimens. The information center is only open to the public at weekends. It is possible to visit the center by prior appointment, which allows you to observe all the efforts being made to preserve this majestic great ape.
