Also known as Taktsang Lhamo in Tibetan, Langmusi is a charming village on the border between Sichuan and Gansu (it is also horse on the two provinces). It is 3 600 metres above sea level (which turns out to be exhausting when it is not prepared), surrounded by mountains of exceptional beauty, to the point that many people compare the region to Switzerland. Two Tibetan monasteries, one in each province, are facing and are the most important of what is to be seen. The population is overwhelmingly Tibetan, with a large number of Muslims (or Hui). This is an essential step for those who travel between Sichuan and Gansu and want to discover the Tibetan culture, which is still preserved.
