Coco Mango carries its name, with two beautiful, more than century-old mango trees and the forests of coconut trees that disguise the houses and restaurant, ideally placed facing the Pacific, with two beautiful beaches with black sand where the red crabs gambadent. The six houses are simple and decorated with natural materials collected on the beach or in the forest just behind, from where you observe birds and monkeys. For those nostalgic for the huts in the trees, ask the room of lovers… To add to comfort, a freshwater swimming pool and hammocks, with noise of the waves and jungle constantly mixed! Different activities are proposed: kayaking, excursions in mangrove or Coiba, diving, surfing and fishing. Bruno and his daughter, the Basques of Ciboure, set up a very pleasant hotel, probably the closest to the beautiful Coiba. The rates are reasonable and it would be a shame to deprive ourselves of a few nights in this perfect place to disconnect and practice unforgettable marine activities.
We back Panama, bewitched by this country or we spent a splendid stay mainly thanks to the advice of Petit Futé. The only drawback: Coco Mango Lodge or we were deceived by rates different from the exchange email (almost double) and the quality of the services and the site.
