It's an ancestral village, hanging on an eagle's nest. Get on your horses! Dry stone houses, no running water, no electricity, you can climb there on foot or on horseback. That's all you get. Pure authenticity. This village offers magical views. If you want to sleep there, it is advisable to go through a travel agency. To stay there, see Caucasus Trekking Company (see Omalo). There is a chapel in Iliourta, also on the left bank. On the right bank you can walk to Verkhovani, the last inhabited village of Gometsari.
