Border Village marks the western boundary of Nullarbor National Park. The Big Roo, a 5-metre-high kangaroo, a few ruins and abandoned cisterns lie along the long desert road. After Eucla, 12 km further on, it's 708 km to Norseman, the next town in Western Australia. Adelaide is 1,255 km away and Perth 1,126 km. Please note that you must dispose of all fruit, vegetables, cheese and plants here if you are returning to Western Australia. The same sanitary rules apply in the other direction, with South Australia's quarantine station in Ceduna.
