At more than 5,500 meters above sea level, the Corona del Inca crater ("the crown of the Inca") is filled by a magnificent lake from which you can contemplate the immensity of the Andes. The panorama reveals volcanoes, lagoons, glaciers and other canyons. The crater, gigantic, measures 5 km in diameter; it is due to the volcanic activity of this mountain, and the ashes formed a ring (the "crown") where the rainwater coming from the tops accumulated. It is possible to get there during the day with 4x4 expeditions from Villa Unión, coupled with a visit to the Laguna Brava. Other hikers explore the area over several days
