Refuge, the most spacious on Mount Mulanje, offering a hut and rooms with cooking stoves not far from the natural pools
At an altitude of 1,840 metres and a four-hour walk from Mulanje via the Boma path, the Lichenya Hut is the most spacious hut in the massif, as it can accommodate over twenty people, making it the ideal base for large group excursions. The hut comprises three large rooms with a large outdoor veranda. Two of the rooms have cooking stoves. Several natural pools are located within a 5-minute walk of the cabin. Bucket shower. Pit toilets.
