TROUT FARM

Set in a clearing where rainbow trout are raised, Trout Farm has a camping area, open to picnickers for MWK 300 (MWK 200 for under-12s), with communal sanitary facilities and barbecues. The two permanent accommodations, each sleeping four and equipped with a kitchen, are spartan but affordable. You'll need to bring your own food, as there's no on-site restaurant. To get here from Zomba, follow the Zomba Plateau Road in the direction of Sunbird Ku Chawe.
