PALM BEACH RESORT

This small and old resort on Lake Malawi is the closest to Mangochi. The cottages, some of which have a kitchen, are quite rustic, but rather comfortable. Bar (with its pool table), restaurant, swimming pool (about to open during our visit) and water sports are at your disposal. A good address for backpackers and small budgets. To reach Danie, the owner, and his team from Mangochi, follow - for about ten kilometres - the M10 towards Monkey Bay until you see a directional sign indicating the 2 km track leading to the establishment.
