Separated from the continent by a 50-metre gap, the Domwe Island woodland is home to the small Kayak Africa camp. Three safari tents and two wooden platforms as camping areas make up this peaceful and wild site accessible by kayak (US$10/night) or motor boat (US$7/person for a one-way trip). A chef is present on site and can, for US$10, prepare a dinner based on the food that the intrepid traveller has taken care of transporting.
