There's not much choice in Lilongwe when it comes to going out dancing and having a drink in the evening. Fortunately for party-goers, there's Chez Ntemba, one of the oldest bars in town. It's not a very sophisticated place, but it serves its purpose: you can have a beer (even outside, if you like) and dance the night away to African and international sounds. At weekends, the atmosphere is stepped up a notch with the regular presence of musicians and popular DJs who attract the local youth. Cosmopolitan atmosphere.
