With five branches, three in Lilongwe and two in Blantyre, Avis, one of the largest car rental companies in the world, is well established in Malawi. Its fleet of more than 200 vehicles, well maintained and equipped, includes small passenger cars, 4x4s, vans and minibuses. Rates depend, in particular, on the type of vehicle: count from 14 US$ per day for a compact sedan to 54 US$ for an equipped 4x4.
