The hostel is located on a hill overlooking the valley. It was an old fortified farm built around 1930 and had belonged to a notable of the H'mong ethnicity. The ensemble is a large traditional Chinese house with 4 buildings around an inner patio. The walls are 80 cm thick. Fireplaces provide heating when the cold winter seizes this mountainous region. The house has 4 double rooms, a 2-bed room and a 8-bed dormitory, as well as 4 showers and 2 separate shared toilets. The hostel provides the bed and breakfast. Above all, it offers guides for hikes that explore the spectacular landscape of the canyon of the Nho River.
